Acousti Engineering Company of Florida was established in 1946 by Clark A. Loomis, Sr., Arden Henry, and Don Quisenberry. It quickly established itself as a leader in the ceiling materials market when, through its relationship with Celotex, it introduced an innovative wood cane fiber ceiling tile system, leading the industry away from the use of asbestos. As materials changed so did the industry leaders and Acousti grew with and provided products from all of the key manufacturers.
